how to find my IP

  •  Open a web browser and go to any search engine like Google.
  • In the search bar, type "What's my IP" and hit Enter.
  • The search results will display your public IP address, which is the address used to identify your device on the internet.
Alternatively, you can also find your IP address by following the steps below:

  • Click on the Start button and type "cmd" in the search box.
  • Click on the Command Prompt program to open it.
  • In the Command Prompt window, type "ipconfig" and hit Enter.
  • Your IP address will be displayed next to "IPv4 Address" under the heading for the network adapter currently in use.

Please note that if you are behind a router, your IP address will be the local IP address assigned to your device by the router, and not the public IP address.
